How it works

1 - Choose your reel type

Our basic reels are simple, sleek and to-the-point — like a 90s sitcom. Premium reels offer extra effects, descriptive captions, and more splash — like a Game of Thrones episode.

2 - Upload footage

The easy part. Upload up to 60 minutes of footage, help us identify your child (e.g. jersey number), and our platform will curate their highlights without any further effort from you.

3 - Share your reel & celebrate

The fun part. You will receive your reel within 3 days of uploading footage. Your reels will be immediately shareable with family, friends, and all social platforms.

Meet the Founder

Hi there, I’m Ajay - a serial entrepreneur/experimenter and lifelong hoops addict. I’ve loved basketball for as long as I can remember, and sharing that love with my young children has been one of the greatest joys and passions of my life.

At the ripe age of 40, I still play 5 on 5 twice per week, get shots up most days, coach 6-10 yr olds at our local YMCA, and collaborate with awesome trainers like Trae Jones in the process.

Reels is my passion project, and a business I hope to grow and operate for the next 10+ years of my life.

My promise to you

As a fellow parent, I know how challenging it can be to balance passion and patience — especially in sports.

I also know how hard it can feel to trust new products/services — especially those that leverage novel technology — with your precious children.

As a parent myself, I have personally designed, and will continue to design, Reels to specifically address and solve for those concerns. My promise to my fellow parents is detailed here.

  • We do our best to respect your privacy at all times. Upload your video to our secured servers, and share whatever info you feel comfortable with to help us identify your child’s highlights (e..g jersey color and number instead of face).

  • We promise to never share or publish any of your videos without your explicit permission. We are here to help you craft memories and stories you can keep and share in only the ways you feel comfortable.

  • The team behind Reels is a team of sports lovers, parents, and technologists. We have been working on this tech for awhile, including elements of artifical intelligence that help us turn around videos in an increasingly fast manner.

  • We believe sports are the best metaphor for life, and that competition is fundamental to growth. If Reels succeed, it will because it helps motivate your children to continue to compete and grow.

  • Without celebration, competition becomes tedious and even torturous. Celebrating your children’s growth is key to them creating a healthy and lasting relationship with competition.

    We maintain a small, highly trained team of editors to assist, review, and help improve the technologies we use to create your Reels. Every reel is edited and reviewed at least twice by a trained editor.

  • Custom trained AI

    We train best-in-class AI models with proprietary data and insights to enable fast turnaround times and precise curation for your highlight reels. We succeed by doing the hard stuff that makes your life easy :)

  • Passionate and detail-obsessed founder

    As the founder, I personally review every reel before it is sent to a customer. Sports, and nurturing children’s love for them, is a driving passion for me. I started this business because I love it!
